Sadly somehow Sherman Quinney have a lot of properties around Peterborough Orton / Hampton area.
When I was using different agents to find property which suits me - I found this agency the worst one if it comes to professionalism.
The market in Peterborough is hot so they do not need any professionalism to sell the house. Wanted to buy a house from them but they were forcing me to buy Conveyance services and mortgage trough them obviously they wanted to increase the profit. * I had good experiences with other agencies in Peterborough - and cannot say it about this one.
Decided to buy house from **another agent which were not pushy, professional and very helpful to the end of the process.
Funny bit my friend bought house from them and had really bad experience as well.
Somehow they have a lot of houses in their offer and it is very possible you will need to deal with them.
Just check reviews about buying solicitor and mortgage through them before you will start :)
Also disrupting someone on the phone with street language - yee yeye yeye is not a good manner.
The only guy who sounded sensible is the mortgage advisor

If you are considering selling DO NOT USE SHARMAN QUINNEY! From start to finish it was false promises and lies. From signing the contract without me present ( although I agreed we would both sign as I wanted to check terms etc) he ensured he left before I got home with us committing to a 24 week... Comments on Agent Fees
Fees are far higher than any other agent and as contract was signed without me present I could not negotiate to a reasonable fee

If you are considering selling DO NOT USE SHARMAN QUINNEY! From start to finish it was false promises and lies. From signing the contract without me present ( although I agreed we would both sign as I wanted to check terms etc) he ensured he left before I got home with us committing to a 24 week sole agent ( don't ever agree to this). From arranging buyers that were never qualified ( although we were told they had mortgages and had the funds ) they clearly were never checked ( 4 times this happened ) which resulted in us paying surveyors for houses we lost. Even on changing agents and the new agent arranging a buyer sharman bought up a clause in their contract that stated anyone who had veiwed the house with them before we were still liable for sharman fees upto6 months. Even though our new agent was willing to split fees with sharman sharman refused wanting full fee. Result was we refused the buyer. So unhappy buyer and unhappy seller. We found the whole time with them appalling. Poor service and constant lies. Please note Sharman are part of a group who use the same methods so please check who you are dealing with.

I recently sold my house through this agent. It sold very quickly (overnight) so I was pleased. The chap I dealt with was Charlie and he really was a good salesperson. Polite and very helpful. I used their own conveyancers but I would never, never, use a conveyancer again! Not only did it take 5 months from start to finish but now, 6weeks after I moved in I have received a letter from the HM Revenue to say that I still owe them £600.00 land tax. The strange thing is, that I have already paid the conveyancer £800.00 but it transpires that they only paid £200.00 to the fax office. They are currently trying to sort this out but who do you believe? They also, like so many other people, tried to charge me for chancel check which is now being phased out in England. Most churches have agreed to allow it to stop but not all are signed up to it so you need to check that. If you choose to use these people, keep an eye on the "extra" charges and jump on them as soon as they try it on. I think thus may apply to all conveyancer,s

These people do not tell you that NO SALE NO FEE means that you will be never able to withdraw your property from them unless you are prepared to pay a �300
ecovery cost.

Claire fox is the manager of this establishment her manners on a scale of 10 requires 0 she has attitude as does a number of her staff.
